Sip, taste and nibble your way around the streets of Bandon as we visit makers of the best local, artisan food and drink in this easy-going ramble to artisan coffee houses, butchers, bakers and even cider makers. With five stops in total, this will be an eye-opening tour that celebrates Bandon’s artisan heart.
Kate Ryan is a multi-award-winning food writer based in West Cork, and has penned a monthly column for Bandon's The Opinion magazine for almost a decade. Her mission to champion Irish food and drink producers' earned her recognition as Blas na hEireann's Irish Food Producers' Champion for 2023, a title previously bestowed on John & Sally McKenna, Neven Maguire and Darina Allen. On this tour, Kate will share her love for all things Irish food and drink - from farm to fork and cup!
