Welcome to A Taste of Bandon, an annual festival that celebrates the food, heritage, and environment of our town. Running since 2019, we seek to highlight the rich cultural history of our market town and promote it as a wonderful place to live and visit.

Highlights from the first Taste of Bandon Festival in 2019

Over the years the festival has championed food businesses of the town as well as showcasing artisan producers, foraging workshops, children’s activities and more. This is one festival where there is definitely something for everyone.

Taste the best of the Bandon, with our Fish Market on Friday mornings, our weekly Country Market on Fridays and Saturdays and our local Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.

Follow the Heritage Trail as we walk along the route of the old markets of Bandon. Join Kate Ryan as she visits local producers and discusses the flavours of Bandon.

Come and welcome Samhain with a Luna ritual at the Druid’s Glen, bash your drums on our Banshee walk, then bask in the warmth of the flames of ROGU Fire.

This year we are looking forward to our special Bandon flavours events where local food businesses are coming together to give you a true taste of the Bandon we know and love.
